Washing hands and cleaning high touched surfaces in our homes goes a long way in defending against the speed of COVID-19. But what about the inside of your car? There are surfaces in our vehicles that we don’t even think about, door handles, armrests, floors, seat belts, touch screens, turn signals stalks, shift lever, buttons, steering wheel, the list can go on and on.

Did you know the dashboard is a top spot for harboring germs and microorganisms. If not cleaned properly the air from the vents swirls up and stick to the dashboard. Then it is redistributed thought the vehicle’s cabin.

Our Vehicles Are A Breeding Ground For Germs!

According to the CDC, “Coronavirus can live on a solid surface up to 4 days. Some medical experts through published reports have been suggesting that some viruses can live up to 9 days on a solid surface,” according to the CDC. “It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.”

The interior of your car is not the same as your kitchen. The materials are not as durable and they can be easily damaged.

Through these challenging times, Rite Now Mobile Detailing has taken the proper steps to ensure our customer’s safety as well as our team members. Following all the CDC recommendations for cleaning your vehicle.
